TRIBO-S system's frequently asked questions (FAQ)
The TRIBO-S system consists of: a processor (2 or 4 zones), a sensitive element (SE-86), a non-sensitive element (NON-SE), connection sleeves (CS), end sleeves (ES), and plastic ties (TIES).
The TRIBO-S system is certified according to Environmental Class IV EN50131 standards, so the processor can be mounted both indoors and outdoors
The power source should provide a voltage between 10 and 30 V.
It depends on the type of fence. For the fixing to a segmental, mesh, or similar type of fence, plastic sleeves measuring 140×3.5 mm are commonly used for standard fastening. Fastening knots are made every 30-40 cm (depending on the type of fence). Different fastening elements are used for other types of fences.
For fences up to 2 meters in height, it is recommended to use two sensitive element lines, fastened 30-40 cm from the top and bottom.
It is strictly not recommended to install the sensitive element SE-86 when the outdoor temperature is below freezing.
The sensitive element should not have excessive slack in any way.
Once attached, the element should not move horizontally under any circumstances.
End sleeve (ES) must be used in the TRIBO-S protection zone. They ensure the continuous control of the sensitive and non-sensitive input lines, as well as the integrity of the processor’s connection lines. They are also used for shielding and sealing the end point of the sensitive element (1 MΩ resistance).
The end sleeve is fixed horizontally to the fence (above the cable line).
These connection sleeves are used to connect the sensitive element to the non-sensitive element or to restore the system after cable damage (for repairs), as well as for shielding and sealing the connection point. There is no limit to the number of connection sleeves used in the system.
The connection sleeve is attached horizontally to the fence (above the cable line).
The non-sensitive cable is used to transmit signals between the TRIBO-S processor and the sensitive element (SE-86) or to connect two sensitive elements (SE-86 and SE-86) using connection sleeves (e.g., bypassing entrances and driveways). The non-sensitive cable can be used underground (it is necessary to lay it in a corrugated pipe).
The non-sensitive cable does not have any special installation requirements. It is installed like a regular electrical cable.
- Sensitive element (can be connected directly or using the non-sensitive element) (input 1, input 2, input 3, input 4)
- Alarm outputs (output 1, output 2, output 3, output 4)
- Power supply line (DC)
- SE and NON-SE sabotage alarm output (TamperE)
- Processor sabotage (lid opening) alarm output (TamperC)
If there are supports that intruders can use to climb over the fence without touching its flexible elements, the sensitive element should be installed on the supports, but this is not mandatory
.
In each zone, you can use up to 300 meters of sensitive element + up to 300 meters of non-sensitive cable.
